CIR is a private non-profit research institution based in Paris. Since its creation in September 2000, the CIR has established a solid profile and achieved financial independence as a result of its ability to attract contract funding, of which the European Union is currently the principal source. - UTA - University of Tampere, Finland
The Department of Social Policy and Social Work at the University of Tampere is one of the oldest university-level units in the field of social welfare in Finland. Currently there are approximately 800 students and 50 academic staff members, which make it one of the largest departments at the University of Tampere. Every year, approximately 50 students complete their studies with a Master of Social Sciences degree and about 3 receive a Ph.D. degree.
